Drummers United, Drum Competition

We are inviting young drummers from around the Russia to enter the annual ‘Drummers United’ competition.



The competition is put together to give the country’s young drumming talent a national, and indeed international, platform, which will be the first steps in their musical career.

The contest has established itself as an internationally recognised event, attracting an ever increasing number of entries and seeing the very best in terms of drumming talent. Sponsorship from various high profile companies mean that the competition continues to improve, both in terms of popularity and scale of production.

• Prelims round - ONLINE

Applications will be accepted trough September 1st, 2020.

• Finals Round - LIVE

All finalists will be required to play drum solo on the outdoor stage of the exhibition taking place September 19, 2020 

• Female drummers (with the minimum age of 16-years and above)
• Male drummers (with the minimum age of 16-years and above)
• Female and male drummers (aged up to 16-years)

The competition is sponsored by the world famous brands. In 2019 there were Yamaha, Blastbeat Drum Shop, D’Addario, Promark, Evans, and Paiste. 

The jury for the Drummers United is formed of popular Russian drummers.

The last year it was led by the exhibition`s special guest Eloy Casagrande – a Brazilian drummer, best known as the current drummer of Brazilian thrash metal act Sepultura.
